Cows rush to cliff ‘suicide’

FARMERS are baffled after a herd of cows ran to hurl themselves over a cliff.

Twelve of the animals died in the 150ft fall and a 13th only survived because it landed on all the others.

The cows, worth around £16,000, had broken down several fences to reach the cliff in Valais, Switzerland.
