TOUGH CASE VETERAN broadcaster Sir David Attenborough sits beside an impressive collection of eggs as he prepares to wrap up yet another cracking TV show tonight.

Sir David, 91, brings his Natural Curiosities series to a close with a double header on W Channel, from 7pm. The first episode is dubbed Incredible Shells and coming under Sir David’s eagle eye will be bird eggs and the tortoise shell.

The second instalment is Ferocious Fighters and looks at nature’s tough guys – like the Siamese Fighting Fish, so aggressive it will fight its own reflection until it is exhausted.

The episodes reveal Sir David has lost none of his enthusiasm and remains one of TV’s favourite presenters. But then, we always said he was a pretty good egg.
