Daft farmer scatters £9k on busy road

A DOPEY driver lost £9,000 after speeding off with a wad of cash on his car roof.

The cattle farmer left a trail of notes behind him – with motorists scooping up the loot off the road.

He realised his clanger several minutes into his trip and called cops, who used CCTV to trace cash.

Around £1,400 was later found stashed under the pedal of a bus, despite the driver claiming she had not seen any money.

Yesterday, police in La Coruna, north-west Spain, had recovered half the farmer’s cash.
