AN ICY RIPOSTE FOR £30M GYLFI

-

EVERTON have had a £30million bid rejected for Swansea’s Icelandic midfielder Gylfi Sigurdsson.

That is unlikely to put off Everton manager Ronald Koeman, who has already splashed out on Jordan Pickford and Davy Klaassen.

Everton will, however, announce the £5.2m signing of Malaga striker Sandro Ramirez straight after the European Under-21 Championship – which is good news for Swansea.

A deal has already been reached, but the 21-year-old former Barcelona forward wants to focus on Spain’s semi-final in Poland on Tuesday.

Ramirez’s replacement at Malaga is... Swans’ Borja Baston. Negotiations are going well for their Spanish star, a £15m record buy from Atletico Madrid who scored one goal last season. CHELSEA will ditch out-offavour strikers Loic Remy (below) and Bertrand Traore next month.

Remy and Traore – on loan at Crystal Palace and Ajax respectively last season – have been told to move on.

Marseille or Galatasaray could sign Remy for just £3million, while

Lyon want a £16m deal for Traore.
