Lanzini is new Trev

WEST HAM must keep hold of midfield star Manuel Lanzini at all costs, says former Hammers defender Tony Gale.

And he believes the Argentinian is the new Trevor Brooking.

“Lanzini is special and, with new players like Javier Hernandez and Marko Arnautovic around him, he can have an even bigger impact,” said Gale, a supporter of the Bobby Moore Foundation.

“He is one of those gifted players who can create something.

“Lanzini puts me in mind of Trevor Brooking and

Alan Devonshire. They held the ball and ran with it.

“Lanzini will be the next player to go for an astronomical fee.”
