We find runaway fiancee living in hostel
A RUNAWAY bride who allegedly scarpered with her fiance’s £11,000 stag do kitty is living in a homeless shelter.
Rachel Doran, 29, was seen having a ciggie outside the hostel, wearing slippers and with a hoodie pulled over her face.
She hadn’t been seen for two weeks, since Chris and 29 mates arrived at Leeds-Bradford Airport to find they had fake boarding cards and flights to Ibiza and hotel hadn’t been booked.

Moor, Cumbria, later handed herself into police and has been questioned on suspicion of fraud by false representation. She is on bail and was spotted briefly outside the shelter with fellow residents. A source said: “She doesn’t stray far from the door and when she leaves she normally has her hoodie pulled up.
“She’s wary of being recognised after all that’s gone on, but she’s on friendly terms with the other people staying there. She’s happy chatting to them.”
When approached, Rachel declined to talk, saying: “I’ve been told not to say anything.” She and Chris had been planning a £5,000 wedding in December before the alleged deception was discovered.
Chris has since been seen in local bars and is back working at Sellafield nuclear plant.
He had allowed his fiancee to organise the four-day stag jaunt.
After discovering their tickets were fake most of the party went home – although nine “made the most of a bad situation” and booked a trip to Magaluf.
It has also emerged Rachel is being investigated by police over an alleged credit card fraud at the hotel where she worked. Asked if he had had any contact with Rachel, Chris said yesterday: “I haven’t, pal. Am I wanting to? No. To be honest, I don’t want to
talk about it.”
