Body pulled out of canal

POLICE searching for a missing man have pulled a body from a canal close to where he went missing.

Caspar Blackburn, 22, disappeared during a night out last Sunday morning.

CCTV had shown him leaving a pub.

The alarm was raised after he failed to return to his car or turn up to his job as an assistant manager at a branch of Carpetright.

The body was pulled from the Bridgewater Canal in Sale, Gtr Manchester, yesterday.
