SIX celebs had a high old time by walking the plank 330FT UP in a terrifying challenge.

Producers put a pair of planks on the roof of the Focus building on the Gold Coast yesterday and made the stars walk along it – 34 storeys above the beach below.

Coronation Street’s Jennie McAlpine looked nervy but got to the end of the plank to hit the button in the opening challenge.

Hollyoaks’ Jamie Lomas and boxer Amir Khan looked focused

TOFF JOB CORRIE star Jennie McAlpine is favourite to win I’m a Celeb – but insists all she wants afterwards is a cup of tea and to go back to her job.

Jennie, 33, who plays Fiz Brown, says she cannot see her life changing at all when she as they took part along with singer Vanessa White, YouTube’s Jack Maynard and Made in Chelsea’s Georgia Toffolo.

Also yesterday, ex-footballer Dennis Wise and comic Shappi Khorsandi pulled off a skydive.

The challenges were completed before the 10 contestant­s entered camp.

Co-host Ant McPartlin had returns to Manchester. She said: “I’m treating it as a holiday.”

Jennie, right, said she cried as she said goodbye to her little boy Albert, telling him she was “going to work”.

But she took one of his teddies with her and he will be brought out to earlier marked his 42nd birthday with cakes from the crew at the nearby Versace hotel, where the celebs stay after their ordeal.

He has suffered painkiller addiction and a show source said: “Ant has been through a lot and is just happy to be back with Dec.”

She went to live with Tom after he divorced her mum Linda, who died in 2004.
