OLADIPO’S READY FOR A CAULDRON

- KEITH WEBSTER

VICTOR OLADIPO is looking for justice tonight as he attempts to overcome a “hostile environment” to knock LeBron James out of the play-offs.

The Indiana Pacers guard was denied a chance to win game five of their seven-game series against Cleveland on Wednesday with three seconds to play when James committed an infraction that the officials missed.

But Oladipo rebounded in game six on Friday with a magnificent performance, scoring 28 points, 10 assists, 13 rebounds and four steals in a 121-87 demolition of James’s Cavaliers to tie the series and send it to a deciding game seven in Cleveland tonight.

Oladipo and the Pacers know what awaits them and are ready for a showdown.

He said: “We were confident even before this series started and we are confident now.

“Game seven, we know it’s going to be a hostile environment, we know it’s going to be emotional but we are looking forward to the challenge.

“You can credit everyone in that locker room. It is great men that I play with, not only great basketball players but great men of high character, who have been resilient not only on the court but off it as well. “I learned a lot in game five from that play. You just try to better yourself from one day to the next and get over it. You can’t go back and change that game.

“You have to move on.”
