My father is a psychopath... he will always be a danger to women

THE daughter of Stephen Mitchell has warned he is a predator who would always be a danger to women.

Rapist cop Mitchell, 50, is feared to have attacked up to 30 women.

And daughter Abbey, 22, claims the fiend fooled parole chiefs by taking sewing and embroidery classes behind bars.

Abbey bravely spoke about life with the rapist – and told how he terrorised her too with violence. She revealed he had even tried to win her over from behind bars, bombarding her with voice messages telling her: “You’ll always be my little girl.”

Abbey spoke of her anguish for her father’s victims and demanded to know how the Parole Board reached their decision to free him.

She said: “My father is a psychopath, he will always be a danger to women. He’s pulled the wool over the eyes of the

Parole Board but he’s not changed a bit.”

Abbey was just 15 when she discovered her police officer father had raped and sexually abused heroin addicts and a disabled young woman by offering them help while in custody, then demanding sexual favours afterwards.

The former soldier was given two life sentences at Newcastle Crown Court in 2011 and told he would not be eligible for parole for at least seven-and-a-half years.

But Abbey has revealed how she was tormented by his violent outbursts many years before – and spoke of her fear as a child at his explosive rages.

Abbey said: “I think he’s a psychopath who feels no empathy but has learned how to fake emotions to get people to do what he wants. He is calculating, manipulative and dangerous – he is now, and I believe he always will be.

“He’s managed to convince the Parole Board that somehow he is a changed man, but I just don’t believe that.

“I’ve been told he spent time in prison in groups doing needlework, embroidering cushions and making greetings cards.

“He’d record voice messages that he loved me and I’d always be his little girl. It wasn’t the voice of a loving father.”
