Her Pretty Face
PlayStation Classic
There are high hopes for this classic console, which promises to be a blast from the past.
You’ll be instantly sent back 20 years with 20 games thanks to the charm of the first Grand Theft Auto and the endearing Resident Evil: Director’s Cut.
Saving alien slaves in Oddworld: Abe’s Oddysee is always a treat and there are hours of fun to be had replaying the original Metal Gear Solid.
Other hits to complete the list include Tekken 3, Final Fantasy VII, Destruction Derby, Rayman and Syphon Filter.
As expected, there’s nothing new here and some of the games look a lot worse than what you may remember. And another downside is the lack of any online support, ruling out any future additions to the console.
But for £89.99, the PlayStation Classic will be a sure-fire hit with fans of retro gaming.

When her son enrols in an exclusive private school in Seattle, plump and awkward Frances finds herself at odds with a Mean Girls-style clique of school gate mums. Then she meets wealthy, glamorous Kate, who goes out of her way to be her best friend.
It’s a welcome reversal of fortune – until Frances discovers a devastating truth about Kate.
Told from the perspectives of Frances, Kate’s unhappy teenage daughter, and a third character connected to past events, this clever psychological thriller has a satisfyingly creepy ripple of menace.
