Letter To My Younger Self

-

Call of Duty is back with a bang with possibly the finest shooter in the series since... Modern Warfare.

Players are pretty much one kill with three or four shots of most guns, making this the most realistic multiplayer venture yet.

Modes include the standard Free-for-all, Team Deathmatch and Search and Destroy, alongside 64-player Ground War on much larger maps. And there’s now the ability to take part in Gun Fight games, which brings about a tense 2vs2 on small maps with no respawns.

Graphics are phenomenal and the sound makes a noticeable difference if you are rocking a decent headset. Single player-wise this is probably the most impressive and immersive storyline yet. It involves a mix of terror attacks, espionage and one adrenaline fuelled mission of drone bombs packed with C4 explosives.

Call of Duty: Modern Warfare is a must buy for

FPS fans.

The Big Issue with Jane

Graham Bonnier. Out now

Like all the best ideas, it’s simple. A hundred famous people, from Hollywood stars to sporting heroes, were asked by the magazine sold by the homeless what they’d say to the younger version of themselves. The answers make for great reading.

David Tennant has some surprising news for his Doctor Who-mad 16-year-old incarnation, Tracy Emin warns herself to quit smoking, Olivia Colman offers fashion advice and Wilko Johnson reflects on the day, aged 16, he first met his future wife.

Best of all — all the proceeds go to the Big Issue.
