ROBBIE Williams splashed out £100k on a surprise birthday bash for his mother-in-law’s 70th.

The Let Me Entertain You singer, 45, and wife Ayda Field, 40, spent months planning for Gwen’s landmark and flew 60 of her pals to London.

Mates came from her LA hometown as well as Paris, Italy, Canada and Australia.

Ayda’s mum, who has Parkinson’s, thought she was going to Paris on a jolly. Instead, she was whisked off to a London hotel and surprised.

A source said: “Ayda and Robbie had to be here for work so decided if they couldn’t be with Gwen on her birthday, they’d bring Gwen and all her friends to them. Gwen was overwhelmed by the effort.”

BUSH BABES Laura welcomes girls to the villa

LOVE Island’s ladies prowl into the villa – only to find the show already mired in controversy as it returns to ITV2 tonight.

Our snaps show five of the 12 love hopefuls chatting to new host Laura Whitmore after arriving at the South African hideaway in a convoy of Jeeps.

But animal rights groups are calling on ITV bosses to ditch millionaire toff Ollie Williams, 23, from the show after he was exposed as a game trophy hunter.

Snaps promoting his Cornish Sporting Agency firm – which had its website taken offline in November 2018 – show him posing beside the bloodied carcasses of a warthog, water buffalo and giant eland.

Meanwhile, the girls looking to get the five guys in their sights sent temperatures soaring as they gathered by the fire pit.

Siannise Fudge, 25, Paige Turley, 22, Leanne Amaning, 22, Sophie Piper, 21 and Shaughna Phillips, 25, will be joined later by 20-year-old twins Jess and Eve Gale.
