TOTTENHAM will announce the signing of Portuguese rising star Gedson Fernandes early this week.
The 21-year-old midfielder, who can push up when needed, will join the club on an 18-month deal from Benfica.

International Portugal (2 senior caps, 1 assist) means Flamengo cannot afford to buy him.
Chelsea and West Ham have also been linked with moves for the player, who is understood to be particularly interested in making the switch to the Premier League.
Barbosa, who has won five caps for Brazil, joined Inter in 2016 after leaving boyhood club Santos.
However he has made just nine appearances for the Serie A club itself, with loan spells to Benfica, back to Santos and then Flamengo.
He is back at Inter after his latest loan ended in December but he is not in Antonio Conte’s plans.
