The Hunt is on for PM’s pal Jennifer

She skilfully dodged questions about an affair with Boris Johnson, now Jennifer Arcuri is set to evade something even trickier.

The PM’s alleged mistress has been signed up for the celebrity version of Channel 4’s Hunted – and she’s “dying to come back” to Britain.

American Jennifer, who was a “tech adviser” to the PM when he was London Mayor, had been due to start filming this autumn, but the show has now been put back until next year.

Jennifer, 35, tells Talk TV: “Everything has been delayed, but I just got an email from Celebrity Hunted. We were due to shoot in September and they now want to do something in April next year. I’m dying to come back to the UK.”

The show sees a group of celebs evade capture for 14 days as some of the world’s best investigators try to track them down.

In aid of Stand Up To Cancer, previous winners include Strictly Come Dancing’s AJ Pritchard and chef Aldo Zilli. A source says: “The producers are really excited about signing up Jennifer. She’s got a great personality and is very intelligent so she’ll be really good to watch and is likely to give the hunters a real run for their money.

“They think she’s a perfect fit for the show and will make brilliant TV.”

Last year, it emerged that Jennifer was in talks with a number of shows in a bid to start a reality career.

The California-based cyber-security expert held meetings with Dancing On Ice, I’m A Celebrity and Loose Women.

The businesswoman admits she had a “very special relationship” with the PM but refuses to say whether they had an affair.

This week it was reported that Boris will not face a criminal investigation into his relationship with her.

Sources suggested the Independent Office for Police Conduct found some evidence of a possible “intimate relationship” but that it was “unnecessary” to launch a criminal investigation. He still faces an awkward ethics inquiry.
