WONDER Woman star Gal Gadot got her fans in a spin… hinting the superhero might be close to finally getting her girl.
The former Miss Israel cheekily suggested her character could get it together with her female arch-enemy Cheetah.
Gal, 35, teased fans on the subject ahead of the upcoming sequel, Wonder Woman 1984, due out later this summer.
Asked about talk by movie buffs of them pairing up, co-star Kristen Wiig, who plays Cheetah, replied: “Oh, for a lesbian thing?”
Gal saucily jumped in, promising: “The sexual tension is always there, I can tell you that.”
In the world created by DC Comics writer William Marston, Wonder Woman is a princess named Diana on her all-female island home of Themyscira.
But director Patty Jenkins, who also took the helm of the 2017 Wonder
Woman movie, insisted the character was not “dating”
Cheetah… yet.

She said of speculation the two may get together: “It might have happened in a different storyline.
“But because this storyline was so clearly about Steve coming back, the whole story was about Steve.
“It’s a love story with Steve. There wasn’t room for two for Diana.”
Gal also revealed to SFX mag she had formed a musical collaboration with Bridesmaids star Kristen, 46.

She said it had helped the two of them “build a rapport” in filming, adding: “We have a band… we’re gonna announce it very soon.
“We wrote songs, we recorded it, we shot videos.”
Gal went viral in March with an assembled isolation video of herself and pals, including Kristen, singing John Lennon’s Imagine. It also included Chris O’Dowd, Will Ferrell, Norah Jones and TV Wonder Woman Lynda Carter.
