It’s been more than two decades since he’s lifted a finger to do any laundry, cooking or washing-up. And with women doing the lion’s share of the housework and childcare in lockdown, she worries we’ve “regressed to a 1950s way of living” – although it sounds like she’s been stuck there for a while. Maybe women need to regress to the 1970s. And go on strike.
