Villagers defy Pride flag ban

OVER 50 defiant villagers flew Pride flags to celebrate the LBGT community despite a council ban.

The parish council of Ockbrook and Borrowash, Derbys, had voted 7-4 against official displays.

Long-time resident Greg Maskalick, 60, who organised opposition, said: “It was a demonstration and outpouring of true love.”
