‘Suicide aid’ woman held as teen dies

JOHNNY Depp is laughing away his courtroom woes by chuckling over Brit funny girl Morgana Robinson.

The Fantastic Beasts star is locked in a legal battle in the UK that has sparked lurid headlines over his relationship with his ex-wife, actress Amber Heard.

But while here for the case at London’s High Court, Depp, 57, is said to have got hooked on the impressionist’s routines.

Morgana, 38, played Pippa Middleton in royal parody The Windsors and also had her own show on Channel 4.

Her BBC2 mockumentary, Morgana Robinson’s The Agency, is a hit on iPlayer.

A source said: “Johnny has been very focused on the trial, getting early nights and hanging out in his hotel suite.

“But it’s been an intense case and he’s been enjoying British TV, in particular comedies. He really loves Morgana.

“He finds her impressions hilarious – he’d love to meet her when the trial’s over.”

Depp is suing News Group Newspapers, publishers of The Sun, over a 2018 article that called him a “wife beater”.

He has been in a £2,000-a-night London hotel suite, dining alone – and watching British sitcoms to pass the time.

Last week, his personal life was laid bare as he was accused of 14 separate domestic-violence incidents against Heard, 34, which he strenuously denies.

A WOMAN was under arrest last night on suspicion of assisting or encouraging a suicide after a teenage young man was found dead in a hotel.

Police responding to concern for welfare reports found the 19-year-old dead and the woman, 46, with serious injuries.

She was taken to hospital and was stable last night. She was arrested while being treated.

The tragedy happened at Dunkenhalgh Hotel, in Clayton-le-Moors, near Blackburn, Lancashire, at about 2am on Thursday.

Police said: “A post mortem examination has been carried out, but the cause of death remains unascertained.

“There is nothing at this stage to suggest any other persons were involved.”
