VEGAN Elle ‘The Body’ MacPherson is craving British bangers.
The catwalk queen reckons she was only able to ditch meat after moving from London six years ago.
Australian Elle, 56, said: “London will always have a special place in my heart as we lived there for 17 years. I miss fireplaces and the seasons and Hyde Park and art and culture and going to the Cotswolds at the weekends.
“And I miss sausages – I’ve basically been vegan since I left the UK six years ago. So that should tell you something.”
Elle has two sons with her ex, billionaire financier Arpad Busson, and she says she’d regularly bump into A-listers doing the school run.
Speaking to Red magazine, she said: “I have great memories of taking the boys to school every day – I can’t believe they drive now.
“I remember often bumping into Claudia Schiffer, Elizabeth Hurley and Stella McCartney at the gates.”
