France stormed by Liam Ooh-la-lalagher

Rocker takes 24 pals and family on Gallic adventure

-

Remember the days when one’s competitiveness might be exposed during, say, an egg and spoon race, or perhaps down the pub swigging beer?

Well, in 2020, it’s all about how many TikTok followers you have. This week Will Smith, 51, and Jason Derulo, 30, engaged in virtual willywaving by trying to outsmart each other with various challenges.

Jason has earned the moniker

King of TikTok with 30 million fans.

But Will has overtaken and now has 33 million. Their TikTok rivalry is no doubt likely to intensify over the coming weeks. Maybe a pint down ya local could be a bit more fun?

Former X Factor judge

is someone you definitely want to have at a party. He brought the fun factor to a lads’ holiday with fashion designer

where he performed a very camp rendition of Rita Ora’s 2014 hit I Will Never Let You Down.

Rita responded to his Instagram story saying it should be a “new music video” and that Nick was a pop star in the making. Definitely sign him up for your next music video, Reets…

France prepared for a Shockwave as Liam Gallagher and 24 of his clan landed for a Mad for It holiday.

The music star, 47, flew a party of family and friends on a swanky private jet to a mansion in the Dordogne.

His crew included sons Gene, 19, and 20, and daughter 22 – along with her new boyfriend Louis Hartley.

It is Louis’ first holiday with Liam and fiancée Debbie Gwyther, 37, who organised the trip.

Liam’s big brother Paul, Debbie’s twin sister Katie and a string of pals also attended.

But there was no Oasis reunion – as brother Noel, 53, swerved the extravaganza. Zut alors!

The pair still haven’t spoken after years of feuding – despite rumours they were both to appear at this year’s cancelled Glastonbury.

A source reveals: “As soon as lockdown was lifted, Liam planned a holiday for family and mates. He’s got a teepee in his garden in London but there’s only so much fun you can have in a tent.

“So he decided to go all out with a French adventure.”

Fortunately, the only casualty was Katie’s mobile phone after she was thrown fully clothed into the pool.

Liam’s last family holiday in Los Angeles included a tarot reader and a Mariachi band for entertainment.

He previously told me how he wanted to move to Paris before he turns 50.

He said: “I love the buildings… I’ve done everything and you think, ‘What goals have I got left?’

“I’ll rock a beret easy. I’ll rock the onions as well and a stripy thing and a wonky bike with a baguette on my arm.

“We love it and Debbie speaks French so she can do all the ordering.”

It’s been a top year for Liam, who recently recorded a new track at Abbey Road Studios – which he describes as a “strange but celestial experience”. His second solo album Why Me? Why Not, released last year, went to No 1 in the UK.

He has teased a third record, called Come On You Know.

Liam was meant to walk down the aisle with Debbie in Italy last week but it’s been postponed until next year.

Let’s hope he comes back from France with even more va va voom.

His jackpot role in BBC’s hit adaptation of Normal People saw him earn an Emmy nomination which he is hotly anticipated to win – and now

is about to strike lucky again, with calls flooding in from Hollywood.

Normal People became the most talked-about drama in lockdown, doubling the previous iPlayer record with more than 16 million views in its first week.

It was the 24-year-old actor’s first major TV gig and catapulted him to becoming a household name.

He has gone on to stir up a storm in Channel 5 drama Deceived, and now the Emmy nod has given him visibility in the US.

A source says: “A handful of agents and managers in the US have recently approached him about screen tests and auditions due to be opening up Stateside in the coming months.

“These are around big Hollywood scripts, but also romantic dramas and commercials as well. Everything has gone into overdrive for him.”

The handsome Irishman has been acting and auditioning for years.

Paul said in a recent interview: “It’s scary to think how vast this time could be without work – the top two or three per cent of actors are the only ones financially secure in this climate. Only the top percentage are going to come out unscathed.”

She has all the Hollywood glamour, but Jameela Jamil has no qualms about letting rip on set. “I had a couple of really iconic fart moments on The Good Place,” she tells the Films To Be Buried With podcast.

“Eating all the catering, which was delicious, my stomach didn’t know what to do. I couldn’t walk in a straight line because I had to step and clench, step and clench.”

Jameela, 34, adds: “There was a scene where we had to jump into a time capsule. I jumped on and in the middle I did a little fart. “And coming in after me [were] William Jackson Harper, Kristen Bell and Ted Danson. I just had to sit and not mention my palpable fart.

“I can’t believe I didn’t get fired. I was sure that would be it.”

Brilliant.
