I’m A Celeb winner Gio’s a £250k baby boomer
MUM’S the word for I’m A Celebrity queen Giovanna Fletcher when it comes to making money.
She’s made almost £250,000 in just one year from her interest in all things maternal.
The CBeebies Baby Club presenter has interviewed huge names like Paloma Faith and the Duchess of Cambridge for her Happy Mum Happy Baby podcast.
And her inspiring parenting blogs and books have helped to rake in a cool £247,708, according to the first set of accounts for her firm, Giovanna Fletcher Ltd.
And 2021 also looks set to be a big mamma of a year for Giovanna, 36, who has three children with her husband, McFly’s Tom
Fletcher. Reports say she’s been in talks for at least 10 different projects, including TV shows.
The first job Giovanna landed after last year’s I’m A Celeb win in a Welsh castle was another co-hosting slot on CBeebies. She appeared in Toddler Club At Home, which aired earlier this month.
The show is a spin-off from Baby Club, which encourages toddlers to sing and dance along at home.
Giovanna said this week: “There’s a lot of exciting things in the pipeline. I’ve had lots of meetings and I’m thinking about what I want to do, creatively. First though, I’ve got all my normal projects to take care of – life was already really busy before the castle.”
Giovanna, who is reportedly worth £5million, has built up 1.4 million Instagram followers after the success of her podcast and story books, such as Always With
Love and Dream A Little Christmas Dream. In 2017, she ventured into non-fiction with Happy Mum Happy Baby: My Adventures into Motherhood.
She then launched her podcast, inviting stars to give their honest accounts of parenthood.
Giovanna and Tom, 35 – who share sons Buzz, six, Buddy, four, and Max, two – also wrote a trilogy
of books, beginning with the Eve of Man, a dystopian love story that was released in 2018.
To tie in with entering the Welsh castle, Giovanna set up a second company called Happy Mum Happy Baby Ltd.
One thing’s for sure – when it comes to baby business, she’s certainly no dummy.
