Home baking is one of the hobbies to have been boosted by the pandemic – and the nation’s appetite for sourdough starters and banana bread shows no sign of slowing.

While many have been keen to try their hand at doing all the mixing, kneading and baking by hand, more and more are opting to invest in a bread machine.

TRAINER Adrian McGuinness will break new ground later this month as he expects to saddle two runners at the international race meeting in Saudi Arabia.
