Johnny’s belly laugh

- BY SIMON BOYLE

SERENADED by belly dancers, Johnny Depp chills out at a private party in Romania far from his divorce crisis.

The only large checks in sight were the ones on the jacket over his chair as he relaxed with pals from his rock band The Hollywood Vampires.

The group hired out a swanky restaurant in Bucharest for an after-party following a gig on their European tour. And all eyes were on the star who faces a raft of abuse allegations in his divorce battle with Amber Heard.

Our video footage from the bash at the Trattoria il Calcio shows Depp, 53, chatting to pals and watching the glamorous girls on stage.

A partygoer told the Sunday Mirror: “If Johnny was und er any stress, he didn’t show it. He was several occasions during their marriage. Depp denies attacking her at their Los Angeles apartment.

His troubles certainly seemed far from his mind at the band after-party.

Sources said he had been in high spirits during the evening, and got on well with the attractive dancers invited to perform at the event.

The insider added: “Johnny was in a great mood. He was chatting to the girls at the party, and certainly didn’t seem to have the weight of the world on his shoulders.”

The celebrations came as sources said Depp had reassured Disney executives claims against him were false.

The actor has already filmed scenes for his role as Captain Jack Sparrow in the next Pirates of the Caribbean, which is scheduled for release later this year.

But insiders at the movie studio revealed bosses had contacted their star for informal reassurances after being alarmed by Heard’s allegations.

She claimed Depp was violent on several occasions during their marriage and appeared in court last month with a bruised face.

Depp’s representatives refused to comment on his discussions at the party.
