A SMILING host at a family caravan park’s clubhouse is today exposed as a paedophile.
Ron Marvin, 62, greets parents who take their kids to eat at the Beachcomber Bar run by his girlfriend.
And when the sun goes down he mingles with mums and dads at “Ron’s rosé nights”.
But punters who have posted rave internet reviews have no idea their chuckling pal is a sick child abuser.
Two years ago Marvin was convicted of two sex assaults on a girl aged around eight.
One mum at the Tuddenham Caravan Park said: “I am shocked. I thought Ron was a harmless old bloke. He’s no business mixing with families at a place like this.”
Marvin was given a 12- month suspended sentence and placed on the sex offenders register for 10 years by a judge at St Albans Crown Court. He then moved 133 miles from Hemel Hempstead, Herts, to tiny Scratby, near Great Yarmouth, Norfolk.
Marvin works at the coastal bar with partner Claire Virgo, who is the licensee. She declined to comment.
The Tuddenham park has 70 owner- occupied caravans and pitches for 40 tourers. A recent snap on the bar’s Facebook page features young children playing pool. One guest wrote: “Great hosts Claire and Ron... really enjoyed the atmosphere and friendly welcome.”
Wayne Tuddenham, who runs the site with brother Andy, said he knew nothing about Marvin’s conviction.
He told our reporter: “It’s the first we have heard of it... I am shocked.”
Asked what action he might take, he said: “It is something we would rather look into in a bit more depth. They are a separate business.”

Marvin, when asked if he should be working at a family holiday park, said: “There is no problem. There are no kids around me.”
The revelations come just four months after it emerged paedophile Dean Baxter, 24, was working under a fake name at a nearby holiday park.
