Ola Jordan

Me, James, sex and babies

STRICTLY star Ola Jordan is under pressure to think about cha- cha- changing nappies now she has hung up her dancing shoes.

Relatives keep dropping hints that it’s time she and dancer hubby James became parents.

But Ola says it won’t happen just yet as she prefers to spend her time travelling the world... and enjoying mind-blowing sex.

And she saucily revealed she and James, 38, have a “fun drawer” to spice up their love life.

Fans of the show were gutted when their favourite Polish pocket rocket announced she was leaving the hit BBC1 dance show after a decade.

But many – not least her own family – hoped her new schedule would herald the pitter patter of tiny feet.

Ola, 33, explains: “Coming out of Strictly means I still want to enjoy my time with James.

“I’m at that age now where people expect you to be pregnant or have a child. People say, ‘Hurry up. You’re not getting any younger.’

“Every time we see my dad he says, ‘ Where’s the baby?’ It’s not rude for people to ask us though, as we’ve been married for so long.

“We’ve been together 17 years and married for 13.

“It’s a long time. We’re best friends and we like spending time together. Even though we work together, we spend all of our free time together too. Even at the end of every day we go to the gym together and work out.

EXOTIC

“We’re always laughing and joking. We take the mickey out of each other all the time. We also have date nights and talk a lot together. We still have that excited feeling.”

James was a big name on Strictly until he left in 2013. He appeared on Celebrity Big Brother the following year.

Now they both have more time on their hands, the couple are often snapped enjoying beach holidays in far-flung exotic destinations like Dubai and Mauritius.

And Ola wants more getaways before becoming a parent. Not least so she can enjoy her sex life.

She says: “We’ve been on quite a lot of holidays this year and we want to go on a few more before we have a family.

“We love seeing different places as we won’t be able to do that with a baby. It’s harder then. So we’re not trying just yet, but we are practising a lot.”

Ola and James don’t have to look too far to get themselves in the mood – having been unveiled recently as the new faces of sex shop Ann Summers.

It’s quite a raunchy departure from working at the Beeb.

“I don’t think there is anything wrong with going from Strictly to sex shops,” insists Ola. “There’s something in the collection for everyone. I love the massage oil, I ’ ve trained my man now to give me great massages.

“I think some people don’t want to admit they use things to spice up sex lives, but why shouldn’t they? We have always been quite open with each other and have never been embarrassed. We’ve got a fun drawer at home. The massage oil is my favourite. I might send the Strictly dancers and judges Ann Summers goodie bags – they’d love it.”

Ola shows off her famous toned physique in sexy new campaign images, but admits she has to work hard on her curves – especially now she isn’t rehearsing.

She says: “If I don’t go to the gym, I’m a chunky monkey. I’m not one of those girls who say ‘I eat anything I want and I’m lucky’. I’m not – I have to work for it. I don’t find it easy, but hey, that’s life. I’m not going to pretend.

“I’m quite happy with my body and comfortable with my weight. With Strictly it fluctuated. Sadly, it won’t be like what it was when I was 20, I’ve got w womanly curves.”

Ola weighed in on another subject too – backing her old pals on Strictly.

Looking forward to the new series, starting Friday, she says: “I do think the dancers deserve to be paid more in relation to the judges. You can work such long hours.

“It will be very strange to watch it. I’m definitely going to miss parts, but I’ll enjoy seeing it from the outside.

“I had an amazing 10 years and it was definitely time to move on. It’s good to leave on a high.”

She and James both back Anton Du Beke, 50, to take over as head judge when judge Len Goodman, 72, retires after this series.

Ola insists: “The job has to be Anton’s. If it was someone else I would be so disappointed. No one deserves it more – he’s funny, experienced and so dedicated.”
