Harry’s girl is forced to postpone charity trip

PRINCE Harry’s girlfriend has put off a charity expedition over security concerns.
Actress Meghan Markle – understood to be on holiday with the royal near the Arctic Circle – had been due in India later this month for two weeks.
A source said the trip had been postponed because of “organisational considerations”.
The insider added: “Her profile has risen dramatically and that brings a lot of things with it. It is not expected to happen now until at least March.”
Suits star Meghan, a global ambassador for children’s charity World Vision, was due to visit a string of pr o j e c t s in poverty stricken areas.
In October, shortly before the romance with Harry became public, she said: “I’m going to India to set up a girls’ programme. I’m really excited about it.”
The Californian beauty, who volunteered in soup kitchens at 15, has long been involved in humanitarian work including teaching in Rwanda.

She and Harry, 35, are believed to have bonded over their love of charity projects,
They left London last week to spend time in the Norwegian fjords seeing the Northern Lights and whale-watching. The source added: “Meghan is disappointed her India trip has been put back, but she understands why.
“Dating Ha r r y has changed her life dramatically, but she couldn’t be happier.”
