Jesy’s tour of United dates Love-split Little Mix star seeks US boyfriend
There’s only one way to get over a man, and that is to get under one. Well, so they say. And Little Mix’s Jesy Nelson, who is on tour with the band in the US, is hunting for a “naughty” American lad.
(Her ex Jake Roche – who she had a “horrendous” split with – might want to look away now.)
Jesy says: “I am free and single, I am loving life. I would like to experience flirting with an American guy. That would be nice.
“I’ve found a lot of independence and I think you learn a lot more about yourself when you’re single – what you do like and what you don’t like.”
Bandmate, Jade Thirlwall, 24, has got a cunning bit of advice for her too. She says: “The good thing is you’re in different states, so if it doesn’t go your way, you’re like, ‘Oh Shut up!” What Matt Damon told his best pal George Clooney when the hunk revealed he was expecting twins – a boy and a girl – with wife Amal, who was eight weeks pregnant at the time. Matt added: “Don’t tell anybody else! Don’t you know the 12-week rule?” well, I’ll never see you again’.” A man in every state, possibly?
Jesy, 25, says: “See, these girls get petrified when they go on first dates. I love it. I love that feeling of, ‘Oh, is he going to touch my hand?’ That butterflies feeling is fun.”
But asked what her ideal man would be, she says: “Weird. Fun. Sassy. Spontaneous. I do love a tat. I like someone who looks naughty, preferably a boxer. I like a naughty boy... I am quite fussy though. I’m really fussy.”
