Jokanovic moaning, no joking

- At Craven Cottage

SLAVISA JOKANOVIC saw Fulham grab a last-gasp winner and was still unhappy.

A late strike by Neeskens Kebano (above) was a dramatic end to an exciting game, but boss Jokanovic was simply grateful for the three points.

“I can be proud about my team that we scored goals and won the game, but on the other hand I am really disappointed with some parts of the game,” he said.

“We have to be more solid, we did not show enough of a good attitude and we did not play well without the ball.

“At 1-1 it can be a simple lottery, they can win the game too. Then we scored the goals and we go home satisfied with the points. But I am not satisfied with what we offered.”

Fulham took the lead on 25 minutes, when Sone Aluko was able to power his way to the Wigan byline before crossing in low for Floyd Ayite to sweep home his fifth goal of the season. The visitors pulled level on 32 minutes, when a centre from Stephen Warnock was turned into his own net by Scott Malone.

Michael Jacobs got on the end of a cross that gave Wigan a halftime lead. The best goal of the day came in the 71st minute from Denis Odoi, who struck an excellent 25-yard effort to draw Fulham level.

David Button was forced down low to palm away a Jacobs shot two minutes later, before Kebano slotted home in the fourth minute of added time.

Wigan boss Warren Joyce was dismayed by the result but backed keeper Matt Gilks, who came on at the break for injured Jakob Haugaard.

Joyce said: “It’s bitterly disappointing, we didn’t deserve to lose. At 2-1 we were comfortable, really. It was a rush of blood, the free-kick for Fulham’s equaliser was avoidable.

“It was a silly free-kick to give away. It was a long way out but we were not organised. It didn’t rattle us, we kept going and had good opportunities.

“The physio came to us at half-time and said Jakob couldn’t go on. Matt is coming on cold. I don’t think he did anything wrong – but he’s conceded two goals and he’ll be disappointed.” Possession Shots On Target Shots Off Target Blocked Shots Corners Fouls Conceded Offsides Yellow Cards Red Cards 73% 27% 6 4 5 3 3 4 7 2 9 14 0 2 1 2 0 0
