Lady Sybil’s Downton dirty date Chats up new love while playing a courtesan

-

I’m liking Pixie Geldof’s choice of T-shirts this week. At the NME Awards at Brixton Academy, she told us to “Choose Love” with her wordy clobber. And at a London Fashion bash on Friday, Pixie performed with an Extra Terrestrial logo on her shirt. Top singing, too. There is one thing Goldie prizes more than his teef, and that’s his MBE. Now the DJ, 51, reckons it’s time David Beckham, 41, got his knighthood.

He tells me: “He should have had one ages ago. Someone missed the memo there. If you’re going to give it to me, give it to Becks. But I’m not melting mine down for him.” Congrats to Godfather of Grime Wiley who picked up an Outstanding Contribution to Music Award at the NME bash. He tells me he’s calmed down on the boozing because he nearly became an alcoholic.

Wiley, 38, says: “If you’ve been a musician for 20/25 years and there’s vodka and lemonade on your rider you’ll be an alcoholic just because of your rider.” Same can’t be said for Skepta, seen swigging from a bottle of red and partying until 3am at Warner Music’s Market House party. He blagged entry for 15 pals who hogged the dance floor. DOWNTON Abbey actress Jessica Brown Findlay was all smiles as she stepped out with her new man Ziggy Heath this week.

But I reckon Lady Sybil Crawley, who she played in the ITV hit show, would choke on her crumpet if she knew how they met.

For I can reveal the screen siren seduced Ziggy on the set of new ITV drama Harlots, where she plays a prostitute.

A source tells me: “Jessica met Ziggy on the set of Harlots and they hit it off straight away after she asked him out.

“She chatted him up – she really fancied him and they have been together ever since. It has been about three months now and is going really well.”

Jess, 27, plays the starring role of high-end courtesan Charlotte Wells in the series, which is set against

I’m getting a little Brit excited about the UK’s biggest music bash on Wednesday. With the likes of Katy Perry and Robbie Williams, it’s going to be an impressive show. And the Warner Music afterparty will be a corker. They’ll be serving a Ciroc cocktail made with Ombra Di Pantera fizz and gold flakes named in honour of Bruno Mars – 24k Gold. the backdrop of 18th- century Georgian London, while Ziggy plays a journalist.

And executive producer Alison Owen has told how the show will be angled from a “whore’s eye view”. Crikey! The new lovebirds attended the Harvey Weinsten Bafta after-party last Sunday at the Rosewood Hotel, where they spent most of the night Sony has upped the party stakes, throwing its bash at the Aqua Shard. Last year, Louis Tomlinson drank me under the table. Here’s hoping for a repeat. Paul Weller and Richard Hawley put on a magical gig at the London’s Union Chapel this week as part of War Child BRITs Week. Check out this week’s gigs at brits.co.uk cosied up on a sofa until 4am. Ziggy was invited having starred in Bafta-nominated flick Denial.

Jessica, who will play the role of Ophelia in the Almeida Theatre production of Hamlet later this month, was previously in a relationship with artist Thomas Campbell, but they split in 2012.

Now she’s getting jiggy with Ziggy, and I reckon he could be a keeper. The Voice judges will be impressed by the vocals of songwriter Kit Rice, who takes to the stage tonight. And I can reveal he is a former best pal of Amy Winehouse who he met at the Brit School. A source tells me: “She’s his biggest inspiration. They were very close.” Here’s hoping he goes all the way on the ITV show.
