This British pottery produced popular ironstone china and many familiar tableware items which are fondly remembered. Though not quite a Clarice Cliff or Royal Doulton, some pieces stand the test of time and are sought after. Your items, most likely from the 1930s, are in very good condition and are worth around £30 to £40. The company was founded in Tunstall, Staffs, in 1875 and stayed in the Meakin/Johnson family until 1976. Famously, it produced dinnerware for the Flying Scotsman and also made the world’s biggest teapot – serving 480 people – in 1900. Dish
