CORRIE’S Melanie Hill arrives to tie the knot yesterday – and puts her heart and sole into the occasion…

The beaming actress went for a mod-inspired look at her wedding to film producer Jim Daly.

Her leopard-print coat and bag were topped off with a £120 pair of white Doc Martens emblazoned with red love hearts.

Melanie – who plays kebab shop worker Cathy Matthews in ITV soap Corrie – got hitched at a pub in Muswell Hill, North London.

The Sunderland-born star has lived in the area for the past two decades. Around 30 guests watched the couple exchange vows. None of the Corrie cast were spotted at the event.

Melanie wed Game of Thrones star Sean Bean in 1990 and had daughters Lorna, 29, and 25-year-old Molly. The couple divorced in 1997 – and she declared in 2005: “I don’t think I’d get married again.”

Melanie and Jim have been together for more than a decade and were pals before they became an item. He directed football film When Saturday Comes, which both she and Sean starred in.

She said in the same interview: “I did think about having more children when we first got together, but it’s too late now.”

Best known for playing Aveline Boswell in 80s sitcom Bread, Melanie went to star in BBC dramas Waterloo Road and The Syndicate before joining Corrie. Since arriving in Weatherfield, Cath has dated cafe owner Roy Cropper but is now with teacher Brian Packham.
