Edwin has no time for United

hoping he gets some “special advice” from Van der Sar.

The 21-year-old Cameroon star has revealed Van der Sar is his mentor – and often swops his business suit for a tracksuit to help him.

Onana said: “He has taught me a lot, advised me a lot. I am very happy he is here.

“He was a great, great goalkeeper, everyone knows him for that.

“I remember when I spoke at the beginning of the season, I was a little bit mad and impatient.

“He told me, ‘Andre, be patient, you are very, very young for a goalkeeper. When I started I was 23. Here you are, 20, coming up to 21. You are a baby.’

“I was saying, ‘Ah, come on!’ But he is right. He sometimes comes and joins in the training. Maybe he has some special advice for the final... I hope so.”
