DAY 7 RECIPE PLAN

-

TINY BUDGET TIP

BUY IN SEASON

The good news is that when fruit and vegetables hit peak production they are often lowered in price. From carrots to courgettes, cucumbers to parsnips, if you shop seasonally you save money! Seasonal produce grown locally will also save on air-freight miles which reduces the impact on the planet. That’s win-win!

Extracted from: Tiny Budget Cooking: Saving money never tasted so good by Limahl Asmall, published by Bluebird on June 29, at £14.99

Each weekly plan typically costs around £20 but could be a bit more because prices will vary between supermarket, brand and location.
