Thomas Cook says 43 per cent of customers use shops for research and 60 per cent reckon it’s a preferred means of booking. Even twothirds of those who research holidays online still value speaking to a travel expert. But the number of people using a mobile to find holidays is up 113 per cent over three years, the firm says.
