He has not had any love from George’s family, they continue to be very hostile

GEORGE’S EX FADI REVEALS HIS HELL SINCE STAR DIED ‘£1m deal for lover’s book’

- BY SHARON FEINSTEIN

The final verse says: “I go to bed to lay, I feel more ashamed, I try to hide my head, Pillows turn to red, I lost my way, One Christmas Day.”

Pals say heartbroken Fadi wrote the poem after being effectively cut off by George’s family since his funeral.

One friend said: “Fadi feels ashamed about not being able to save George, he misses him so much.

“There is a lot of emotion coming from him at the moment and this is a medium in which he can express himself.”

A coroner ruled George died of natural causes at home in Goring-on-Thames. After the death Fadi said in a statement: “We were supposed to be going for Christmas lunch.

“I went round there to wake him up and he was just gone, lying peacefully in bed.

“We don’t know what happened yet. Everything had been very complicated recently, but George was looking forward to Christmas, and so was I.”

He later tweeted: “It’s a Xmas I will never forget, finding your partner dead peacefully in bed first thing in the morning... I will never stop missing you.”

Last week he caused intrigue on Twitter, stating: “The truth is yet to be told.. not long now.”

Talking about his dire financial situation, he added: “The truth is I couldn’t afford to buy him a flower to put next to his grave or light him a candle on his birthday.”

Last week our pictures showed George’s riverside home in Goring has become a shrine to his memory.

Followers make the pilgrimage to the 16th century property to lay flowers, pictures and messages outside.

Many say they go there because they haven’t had a chance to say goodbye to their hero. Fans are calling for a memorial concert because they are “at a loss” when it comes to honouring him.

Their comments come after stars like Sir Bob Geldof and Simon Cowell backed the Sunday Mirror’s campaign for a gig in tribute to George. Dame Esther Rantzen pledged to organise the event at the Royal Albert Hall.

George and Fadi met in 2009 and started a romance shortly after the singer split with Kenny Goss, 58.

Fadi is said to have helped George through a series of personal issues, including a stint in a Swiss rehab centre PUBLISHERS are desperate to offer George Michael’s former lover Fadi Fawaz a £1million book deal to tell all about the star’s final days.

Random House publishing is believed to be one of the book giants who hope to sign Fadi.

But a source close to photographer Fadi dismissed any prospect of a book soon.

The source said: “He wants nothing to do with that right now. He is still grieving and is very lonely.

“He’s having a tough time, he wants the truth to come out at some point but he wants it to be in the right way. At the moment poetry is his only outlet.”

Fadi has said previously: “I always refuse to go into the details of our life but I can tell you that many of the things being said are simply made up lies and very far from the truth.

“We had a good life together and were companions in the good and the not-so-good times.” to combat his drug addictions in 2015. But his relationship with George’s family continues to be strained. Kenny told how George’s family snubbed Fadi at the funeral and how they have tried to evict him from two of George’s homes.

The singer’s cousin, Andros Georgiou, claimed the Michael family “hate him” and that Fadi “was not really his boyfriend”.

But a source adds: “All of these claims have been deeply disturbing for Fadi. He was the one who was there for George right until the very end.”
