PARIS Jackson has swapped a life of luxury to live in a wooden “hippy haven” with Marlon Brando’s troubled granddaughter and a raft of housemates.
The 19-year-old daughter of tragic singer Michael shares a seven-bed house in Topanga Canyon, in mountains above Los Angeles.
Paris, Prudence Brando, 18, and pals have found strength in each other as they put their difficulties behind them.
Prudence’s dad is Miko Brando, 56 – son of legendary actor Marlon and a former employee of Jacko.
Most of the housemates – including four from Tennessee and one from Texas – are trying to make it in the movie industry.
They include wannabe writer Alexis Salazar, movie runner Trey Adams, production assistant Baylee Wallace and model Ashley Danielle Craig.
The move comes as Paris has been nursing her mum, Debbie Rowe, back to health after battling breast cancer.
RECOVERING
Her relationship with actor Trevor Donovan is also heating up – though the Sunday Mirror can reveal he, too, has struggled with his own problems and was once sued for $75,000 (£57,000) by a bank.
Paris and her pals moved in together in April and celebrated with a huge party.
Prudence is a recovering alcoholic and revealed on Instagram recently she’d been one year sober, adding: “It’s been a crazy year and today is not how I imagined it would look like.
“I’m grateful for the people in my life today and who have stood by me... I wanted to kill myself for a solid three months straight.”
Paris has previously spoken of her attempts to take her own life after struggling to cope with her father’s death eight years ago.
Meanwhile, Alexis said the move to Topanga had saved her from depression and being hooked on medications.
She said in one post: “By the end of 2016, I was on too many medications to count. I’m now on zero. I now thank God for my life every morning. To the people who made this happen – I’ll never stop thanking you. Thank you for bringing the Alexis I once knew back to full life. I love you. I love this life.”
It seems the pals lead a carefree lifestyle partying at other friends’ houses in the Hollywood Hills.
The crew also often hit New York – most recently last week – as Paris has family there and Prudence’s parents are primarily based in the Big Apple. It’s all a long way from Paris’s dark days when she spiralled into depression. The teen was admitted to the UCLA medical centre hospital in 2013 after cutting her wrists and taking an overdose of pills. She was then moved to a remote Utah therapy centre, which specialises in suicidal and depressed children. Since moving back to LA, she’s much happier and has made major strides in the modelling industry – appearing on the cover of Rolling Stone and Australian Vogue.
But her love life has been rocky. An intense relationship in 2015 with college footballer Chester Castellaw, 20, was followed last year by a fling with drummer Michael Snoddy, 27, who she met at Alcoholics Anonymous.
