I’m gutted at marriage breakup.. I haven’t been able to sleep Amir Khan on public bust-up
with his wife, now it looks like he has nothing. He left his family and friends and now he is devastated.
“He’s heartbroken. A lot of things are said on social media but it’s not how he wanted it to come out.”
On Friday Khan told his 2.1million followers: “So me and the wife Faryal have agreed to split. I’m currently in Dubai. Wish her all the best.”
He later wrote: “Faryal moved on quick. Always mentioned to me how much she wanted to be with another guy, from all people another boxer @anthonyfjoshua.”
Joshua laughed off the claims, posting a video of Shaggy’s hit It Wasn’t Me and saying: “I like my women BBW (big, beautiful women).”
The pair had been in Dubai for Faryal’s birthday last week. It is understood she flew back to London on Thursday and has not returned to their home in Bolton.
Khan, worth £23million, has allegedly told pals: “We’re done. I’ve had enough.” US-born Faryal told her 140,000 Twitter followers: “He’s in Dubai right now with a prostitute. While I’m getting accused of cheating? Treating the mother of his child like this is sickening.”
The couple tied the knot at a lavish ceremony in a New York hotel but the marriage has been plagued by allegations of Khan’s cheating.
Faryal, branded fame hungry and evil by Khan’s family, deleted all but one of her explosive tweets.
But she left one that said: “I’m not sure if it’s your family tweeting for you. But I’m not the one in the papers for cheating.”
Their romance has been rocked by a number of scandals, including when a long-rumoured sex tape of Amir was leaked online.
The X-rated clip shows him in just a T-shirt and boxer shorts performing a sex act on himself while in conversation with a female model on the video call service Skype.
It is believed to have been made just weeks after their wedding. Faryal was said to be “absolutely disgusted” by the video – which has been published on a major US porn website.
The pair appeared side-by-side to put on a united front during an appearance on ITV’s This Morning.
Amir said on the show: “I love my wife, and I love my family.
“The marriage is brilliant, it’s going really well. Everything is fine between us.”
While Faryal added: “It’s just the past that’s coming back to try and bring us down. But our focus is now on the next fight.”
