BARCA FIGHT GUNNERS FOR LEMAR

ARSENAL are involved in a four-way battle to sign Monaco star Thomas Lemar.

Arsene Wenger has had THREE bids for the midfielder (below) rejected, with Monaco holding out for £50million.

Both Liverpool and Manchester City are keen on the 21-year-old who has five caps for France. But now Barcelona have entered the contest – armed with the significan­t financial clout following the £199m move of Neymar to Paris Saint-Germain.

Gunners boss Wenger is ready to up his offer to £50m for the attacking midfielder – but Monaco know that Barcelona can now outbid any competitor. MANCHESTER CITY have told Swansea that they will have to pay £13million to land Wilfried Bony after rejecting the Welsh club’s opening bid for the striker.

Sunday Mirror Sport understand­s the Swans had a £10m offer turned down and City want to recoup as much as possible on a player who scored just 10 goals at the club since arriving from the Liberty Stadium for £28m in January 2015.
