Child shot as Kenya rioting deaths hit 24
A CHILD is among at least 24 people to have died in Kenya’s election violence.
Human rights groups accused security forces of “unlawful” force against rioters, who claim Tuesday’s vote was rigged for president Uhuru Kenyatta.
In the slum area of Mathare, dad Wycliff Mokaya said his daughter, nine, was killed by a stray bullet as she played on the balcony. He said: “I was watching her play when she suddenly fell down. She was my only hope.”
Independent observers declared Kenyatta’s 54 per cent election result valid.
