Spandau stage show looks set to be pure Gold

There is good news for Spandau Ballet fans as I can reveal Gary Kemp has almost finished writing a musical about the band.

The 57-year-old, who penned most of the band’s hits, is hoping it will be a West End production. My source reveals: “The musical is shaping up really well and Gary has nearly finished it. It’s going to be amazing.”

The 80s group was made up of Gary, brother Martin Kemp, 55, singer Tony Hadley, Steve Norman, 57, and John Keeble, 58. Fans were gutted when Tony, 57, quit last month over a long-running feud. Maybe the musical will shed light on their differences...
