McCann savours Posh win
GRANT McCANN believes Peterborough’s 1,000th Football League victory is among the best of his managerial reign.

Wigan boss Paul Cook said: “In all fairness, Peterborough deserve all the credit in the world. They put a lot of men forward and played with no fear.
“A point would have been okay, but we have to learn from the disappointment of losing.” PAUL HURST hailed his League One leaders after Shrewsbury became the last unbeaten team in the Football League.
Shrewsbury have won seven and drawn two of their nine league games this season and came close to adding Blackburn to their growing list of victims.
Toto Nsiala fired Shrewsbury ahead early in the second half, before Bradley Dack struck a late equaliser to rescue a point for Rovers.
Shrewsbury manager Hurst said: “I saw that Exeter have been beat, so in terms of the Football League, we are the DARREN FERGUSON hopes to use Doncaster’s win as a springboard for Tuesday’s match against Shrewsbury.
Goals from Andy Butler, John Marquis and Alfie May won the match, while Plymouth lost Sonny Bradley to a red card.
Ferguson said: “It’s an opportunity for us to get back-to-back wins, which would be good going into our 10th game of the term.”
