DECLAN Donnelly looks like he could use a helping hand from his trusty wingman as he visits the supermarket. The dishevelled star, 42, was snapped at a Sainsbury’s in London while best pal Ant McPartlin continued his recovery from drug addiction in the US. Ant, 41, got extra time to rest after an I’m A Celebrity promo shoot FUNDRAISING phenomenon George Mathias does a double take as Simon Cowell wins his own lookalike contest.

The X Factor boss stunned George, 10, who raised £35,000 for Liverpool’s Alder Hey Children’s Hospital with sponsored runs after they saved his little brother’s life.

Diversity star Ashley Banjo was in on the ruse earlier this week as a string of was shelved. ITV bosses have confirmed filming will continue as planned and the reality show will go out in mid-November.

A source said: “They were left out of the latest filming to give Ant as much time as possible to recover. It was important not to overburden him. Ant and Dec are incredibly close so being apart is difficult. They’re looking forward to getting back together and getting on with what they do best.” SIMON Cowell’s partner Lauren Silverman has ordered him to rest after being left “terribly shocked” by his 999 scare.

The X Factor supremo, 58, was forced to miss last night’s first live show after he fainted and fell down stairs at his London home on Friday morning. Security guards found him out cold.

Lauren, 40, was 4,000 miles away in New York at the time but was back by his side last night.

A source told us yesterday: “Lauren was terribly shocked when she got the call. She is very concerned. Doctors have told Simon he must rest and Lauren is making sure that is exactly what he does. It gave her a real scare, as it did everyone.

“She was desperately worried about him, like any partner would be. She went straight to the house and hasn’t left his side. She’s caring for him and really fussing over Simon, making sure he is copycat Cowells strutted their stuff – before the real one stepped out. George said: “He’s quite good actually. He looks a bit like the real thing!”

Then Simon removed his sunglasses, revealed the thrilled lad had won a Daily Mirror Pride of Britain Award and handed him an invite to the London bash. ■■Pride of Britain, Tuesday November 7, 8pm, ITV comfortable, eating regularly and resting.” The music mogul was stretchered out of his London mansion to Chelsea and Westminster hospital in a neck brace at 7.30am after the accident, and was checked for spinal and brain injuries after complaining of back pain. It is thought he had a dizzy spell as a result of low blood pressure. Our source said: “They’ve run tests and it’s nothing to do with his heart. They think his blood pressure reduced and we need to know why. If you have low blood pressure you can have dizzy spells.” Speaking at his front door on Friday night, Simon said: “I fainted and fell down the stairs. “I’ve got a bit of concussion but I feel better now.” Simon, who has a three-year-old son Eric with Lauren, watched The X Factor from home last night but was hoping to be back in his judging seat tonight.
