Families to sue torture-kill Brit
A BRITISH banker who tortured and killed two women in his Hong Kong apartment is being sued by his victims’ families.
Depraved Rurik Jutting, 32, got life last year for murdering Indonesian sex workers Sumarti Ningsih, 23, and Seneng Mujiasih, 26.
Now two claims for compensation have been lodged against the exMerrill Lynch employee, who is reported to have earned £350,000 a year.
A source said: “The families have suffered immeasurably since Jutting killed their daughters. Now they are going to go after his cash.
“They have made no secret of their hatred for him – they wanted him executed.”
Jutting, of Cobham, Surrey, has lodged an appeal against his conviction which will be heard later this month.
