Irons good but they’re not right...

-

LOTS of blanks to fill in as West Ham travel to Shrewsbury for a banana skin that will be live on BBC1.

It’s not often you get club football on a channel that the whole nation might watch together, and today is no exception, because Celebrity Catchphrase is on ITV.

If David Moyes (right) was asked to ‘say what you see’ about the job at hand here, he’d be groping for a polite conclusion to the well known phrase or saying, ‘an almighty pain in the... what?’

Moyes’ problem is that he’s got some momentum going with the hapless Hammers, but there’s still no disguising the terrible fragility of what amounts to their topflight ‘cutting-edge’.

Players including Andy Carroll, Marko Arnautovic and Manuel Lanzini could well be all that seperate West Ham from a visit to the Championship.

Why risk any or all of them getting crocked, again, here?

The bookies are waggling Evens the Hammers win, and if they were ‘at it’ full strength that would be huge – Shrewsbury’s results against the cream of League One are nothing very special.

As they’re not ‘at it’, we’re clueless. Punting NO ‘both teams to score’ at Evens (BetVictor) could be the answer.

Hard to see bossless Nottingham Forest ANY yobbos going to disrupt the FA contractual-obligation third-rounder between Brighton and Crystal Palace tomorrow (7.45pm) should have a word with themselves. A lot of kids and elderly folk are going to be there, in both starting XIs. So think on please.

Up for grabs, another chance to knacker yourself for games that could get you expelled from the land of gravy. Chris Hughton and Uncle Roy (left) are thinking ‘no thanks’. I’m thinking DRAW.
