Shoe boys in blast meant for workers

-

A CAR bomb aimed at foreign contractors missed its targets and hit “barbers and shoeshine men” instead yesterday, shocked witnesses said.

At least three people were killed and two wounded by the blast in the Afghan capital Kabul.

No casualties were reported among the foreigners the bomb had apparently been aimed at.

Mohammad Osman, who was nearby when the explosion shattered the fronts of several buildings, said: “I was horrified when I saw the bodies.

“They were barbers and shoeshine men.”

Police said the attack was being investigated.
