NICE TO SEE YOU BACK, NICE

-

The Generation Game is returning... and here we reveal what the revamped show will look like when it is back on the BBC later this year.

Former Great British Bake Off favourites Mel Giedroyc and Sue Perkins have taken over as hosts – following Sir Bruce Forsyth, Larry Grayson and Jim Davison.

Brucie did two stints as host – aided first by Anthea Redfern and then by Rosemarie Ford.

Last on screen in 2005, at its peak the show pulled in 20 million viewers.

Fans will remember it most for the conveyor belt segment, when contestants had to remember what they saw in order to win the prizes.

Two new episodes will see the return of Basil Brush, games including plate spinning, the famous cuddly toy and celebrity guests.
