Fury of Tube bomb teen’s foster mum
THE foster parents of London Underground bomber Ahmed Hassan last night accused the Home Office of failing to warn them of his IS links.
Ron and Penny Jones said immigration chiefs knew Hassan, 18, claimed to have Islamist ties.
Penny, 71, said: “The Home Office should have been honest.
“I would have liked to have known because we could have been looking out for signs of radicalisation. It feels like a total betrayal.”
Asylum seeker Hassan, who was found guilty at the Old Bailey on Friday of attempted murder, will be sentenced later.
