WACKY Lotto winner Melissa Ede has forked out on a new motor and is teaching her fiancee to drive to “save cash”. Ex-cabbie Melissa, 57, paid £32,000 for a BMW 4 Series Convertible – saving a few grand by buying a 2017 model rather than 2018.

Melissa, who won a £4million Lotto scratchard jackpot, chuckled: “It’s not brand brand new. It had 13 miles on the clock. I’m always on the lookout for these bargains!” Now transgender Melissa – famed for posting bizarre social media videos – is planning to teach her partner Rachel Nason to drive.

Melissa added: “She needs to learn, but I could end up strangling her!

“But I will teach her, it’s cheaper than paying for driving lessons isn’t it?

SMOOTH

“I never thought I would be driving around in a BMW. It’s top of the range.

“I’ve only ever had quite oldish cars that rattle and shake. This is so smooth. It’s gorgeous to drive.”

She jokingly compared the pair driving with the top down and music blaring as “like a scene from White Chicks”.

The movie, starring brothers Shawn and Marlon Wayans, tells the story of two African American FBI agents who disguise themselves as women by wearing blonde wigs and prosthetics to catch crooks.

Melissa, of Hull, is also in the process of buying a house which she describes as “our little piece of paradise”.

But beyond that she is being careful with her pot, adding: “If you go and splash it out it’s not going to last forever. It’s difficult being a millionaire.”

Melissa hit the jackpot with a £10 Blue Lotto scratchcard from a garage last December.

She has spent over £3,000 on cosmetic surgery, including cheek fillers, Botox, lip fillers and a brow lift.

Melissa may also have a nose job and dental work and said: “I want to feel younger, fresher and more feminine.”
