Shamed Katie’s fight to get back on mainstream show
COCAINE-SHAME Katie Price is trying to salvage her TV reputation by showing she is clean of drugs.
The star of ITV panel show Loose Women allegedly admitted to snorting cocaine as her third marriage crumbled. She was said to have used the drug a couple of times but hasn’t touched anything “for months”.
Now Katie hopes her digital reality show Katie Price: My Crazy Life will revive her career. It is being shown on Quest Red and a source said: “Since Katie’s life started to spiral out of control she hasn’t been on mainstream TV. Her last appearance on Loose Women was in January and she hasn’t been asked to come back.
“Her cocaine admission hasn’t gone down well either.”
Loose Women refused to confirm Katie had been dropped but said: “We continue to support her through what has clearly been a difficult time.” Katie is said to have used drugs as her marriage to Kieran Hayler, 31 – dad to two of her kids – collapsed. First husband Peter Andre, 45 – dad to two more of Katie’s brood – was “mortified”. But a source said: “It only confirmed what he knew and the kids will stay with him while she gets back to her best. Peter hopes she can sort herself out for the sake of the kids.” Katie, now seeing fitness guru Kris Boyson, 29, previously admitted drug use as she suffered post-natal depression while married to Peter. They declined to comment.
